Landscaping Crew Member Job Description
Title: Crew Member
Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal 7-5, Saturdays as needed
Location: Auburn, NH
Salary: $18-$22 an hour based on experience
Experience: No experience necessary, will train. A valid NH driver’s license is required.

In this role, you will assist with various landscaping tasks, including lawn maintenance, planting, mulching, trimming, and other duties as required. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and take pride in creating beautiful landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, and blowing.
- Spread mulch, lay sod, and maintain garden beds.
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools such as mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
- Remove debris, leaves, and other waste from jobsites.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and to high-quality standards.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Previous landscaping or lawn care experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to be a team player and follow instructions.
- A valid NH driver’s license is required.
- Ability to work on Saturdays as dictated by business needs.

Maintenance Crew Leader Job Description
Title: Maintenance Crew Leader
Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal 7-5, Saturdays as needed

Salary: $23-$28 Hourly
Experience: 2 -5 years’ experience
Job Summary:
Our mission is “to combine industry-leading expertise with unmatched customer service, helping your lawn and landscape flourish.” We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscaping Crew Leader to oversee and manage a team of landscaping crew members, eager to contribute to carrying out our mission to our valued customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in both residential and commercial landscape maintenance. This role requires hands-on work, team coordination, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and meet our high standards of quality, while ensuring our core values of Quality, Leadership, Teamwork, and Efficiency are instilled in all that we do!
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of 2-6 crew members.
- Monitor job progress and crew hours, and communicate with managers along the way.
- Perform and oversee a variety of tasks, including moving, trimming, weeding, mulching, fertilization, and other landscaping duties.
- Ensure safe operation of equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and hand tools.
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by following company safety protocols and procedures.
- Track crew hours, job progress, and materials used for accurate reporting.
- Arrive prior to the crew at 6:45 AM.
- Inform management of employee issues as they arise.
- Work in various weather conditions while meeting deadlines and our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as deemed necessary by the needs of the business.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of landscaping maintenance experience.
- Strong understanding of plant care and landscaping maintenance techniques.
- Ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
- Capable of lifting 75 pounds or more, working on your feet for extended periods, and handling outdoor weather conditions.
- Proficiency in operating landscaping tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently.
- Valid NH Driver’s License is required, pesticide certification or other relevant credentials a plus.
